How did it all start for Yehali:
Yehali was contacted by her uncle in the Sri Lankan army. He asked Yehali to send him her bio-data or portfolio as he had to select a Sri Lankan girl for an acting project in Pakistani drama Sinf-e-Aahan. From there, the Pakistani army and director Nadeem Baig got in touch with her and selected her for the role of Nathmi Perera in Sinf-e-Aahan after a brief audition. She landed in Karachi for the first time and went to Islamabad from there straight away. After staying there for a couple of days, she went to Abbottabad for the shooting of the drama.
